You can get to Argentina by plane or by boat, or even by motorway if you are coming from another place in South America. It is important to know your options on how to get here.

Many important European airlines fly to Buenos Aires. Also within South America Buenos Aires can be reached by plane. The main Argentinian airline is Aerolineas Argentinas. From the airport in Buenos Aires/Ezeiza (officially Ministro Pistarini) one can be transferred to the town by bus or remis (some kind of taxi).

The trip can also made over land. There are many important connections with the neighbouring countries. There are for example direct buses between Buenos Aires and other big cities in South America and border buses for short trips (i.e. between Posadas and Encarnación/Paraguay).

Not common, though spectacular if you have the time, is the voyage between Europe and Argentina.

Between Argentina and Uruguay are speed boat connections.
