It is possible to realise excursions to the nearby Chile.

In between of Mendoza and Chile are the Andes, possible to cross in the summer by car or bus. In the Winter one can take the plane for a short ride to Santiage de Chile. On the pacific side is Chile situated.

The road from Nedoza crossing the Andes leads to the centre region Chiles where the capital Santiago de Chile is situated. Like Buenes Aires, Santiago does not give the impression of a southamerican town not either. The European influence with regards to architecture can not be overlooked. From here it is possible to visit many different towns in the Andes.

In the same region, directly on the Pacific Ocean and 200 km from Santiage are the harbour towns Valparaiso and Viña del Mar located. The rich and the poor live here very close together, giving Valparaiso a very exotic flair. Several international and national poets described the live in this colourful, pictoresque harbour town, big names like Pablo Neruda. The town is full with churches, musees, sights and ineresting architecture. The nearby Viña del Mar is a populare holiday ressort on the Pacific. Here are found villas, yacht clubs, beautiful Hotels, Casino, sea promenades and many parks.
