Quite near of Bariloche, Argentina, the region of the Lagos in the country of Chile is found. A nice landscape of blue lakes, green forests, mountains and vulcanos.

Especially nice is the tourist site Puerto Varas on the bank of Lago Llanquihue, quite near the capital of the region de los Lagos, Puerto Montt. There is a mini bus circulating between the localities around Montt and the transfer lasts in between 20 and 25 minutes. Whilst travelling along the road Panamericana, one can observe and appreciate plenty of vegetation.

Puerto Varas is the town of the roses, a small village, pretty and clean. A tourist place and one of its most important attractions for the local people as well as for national and international tourism are the variety of roses. A rainbow of red, orange, pink, multi-coloured and yellow flowers. Another outlet which entertains tourists is the casino, a place of gambling but also live shows. It is situated right in the centre near the coastal line. On the way to Puerto Varas a live stock fair can be encountered with kettle like bulls, cows, calfs being sold and bought.
